Local company wins council sponsored award

At the 11th Gatwick Diamond Business Awards on Thursday (21 March), a local company won the Professional Services Firm of the Year category, sponsored by Crawley Borough Council.

Horsham based company, MCA Consulting, won the award by consistently delivering exceptional service to their clients, demonstrating innovation and outstanding expert knowledge in their field.

MCA Consulting were selected as winners by Gatwick Diamond Business judges and the award was presented by Chief Executive of Crawley Borough Council, Natalie Brahma-Pearl.

The glittering awards evening celebrated people and businesses who have shown innovation and inspiration through their work, highlighting the best of the best across the Gatwick Diamond region.

The Gatwick Diamond is home to a vast range of businesses, spanning all sectors of the economy, from household names to niche companies, and from multinationals to sole traders – many of which are home to Manor Royal.

Councillor Peter Smith, Cabinet member for Planning and Economic Development, said: “It was a fantastic opportunity to highlight Crawley’s thriving professional services sector by sponsoring this award. All the winners at last night’s event have demonstrated a real commitment to this world-class region, which Crawley is proud to be a part of.”

Well-known actor and comedian, Sean Williamson, hosted the Gatwick Diamond Business Awards at the Effingham Park Hotel. The audience of 600 were also entertained by Xavier, fresh from stealing the show as contenders on BBC One's "All Together NOW.

Alongside the council, other sponsors included Gatwick Airport, NatWest, Thakeham Homes and Extech Cloud.
