Success for Employ Crawley

Two months on from the launch of Employ Crawley, local residents are signing up to boost their careers. Created by Crawley Borough Council in partnership with West Sussex County Council, Employ Crawley is a service that aims to support people looking for work or into higher skilled, higher paid employment. Since it opened at the beginning of October, more than 70 local people have engaged with the service, with a percentage of those going on to attend interviews and receive job offers.

Employ Crawley is supported by partners such as Barnado’s, STEM Sussex, National Careers Service and Crawley College who are also able to refer those looking for help and guidance. With the help of a knowledgeable and well connected member of staff, local residents are able to create a tailored programme that will help them move into work or progress into the next stages of their career.

Available for all ages, Employ Crawley is open Monday- Wednesday 10am until 3pm, Thursday from 12 noon until 7pm at Crawley Library and at Broadfield Library on Friday’s from 10am until 1pm, though alternative appointments can be made. Why not stop by and find out how to kick-start your career?
