Cheals Roundabout - highway improvement works from October 2018

Breheny Civil Engineering on behalf Crest Nicholson are to commence highway improvement works on the Cheals Roundabout on 22nd October 2018 with works due for completion end of May / early June 2019. The purpose of these works is to increase the capacity of the roundabout to deal with the anticipated traffic flow increases from the residential development at Kilnwood Vale.

Historic High Street changes improve pedestrian safety

Changes to the Historic High Street have been implemented to improve pedestrian safety and prevent further damage to street furniture and fixtures.

Funded by Crawley Borough Council in partnership with West Sussex County Council, works have been carried out in the Historic High Street to secure the pedestrianised area from vehicles and prevent illegal parking.

The High Street is a Restricted Parking Zone from the entrance of Pegler Way to just north of its junction at Cross Keys and any vehicle not correctly parked in a bay is liable for a Penalty Charge Notice.

Public drop-in to explain major junction improvements in Three Bridges

West Sussex Highways is preparing to upgrade seven junctions along Haslett Avenue in Three Bridges.

Residents and businesses are invited to come along to a public drop-in session at Pound Hill Community Centre, Worth Road, Pound Hill, on Thursday August 31 from 6pm to 9pm.

Engineers will be there to talk about the plans and answer any questions people may have about the scheme.
